This landmark collaboration features the legendary flautist Annada Prasanna Pattanaik—a disciple of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasiya and longtime collaborator with Lucky Ali—whose evocative melodies ground the project’s exploration of societal themes. The accompanying music film, captured across the timeless landscapes of Kashi, Hampi, and Hyderabad, follows three distinct characters whose separate journeys intersect to reveal a shared internal truth.Why does Santosh Nanduri occasionally break away from his heavy metal roots to create something entirely different? For Santosh, it’s about pure artistic expression and the courage to step outside his comfort zone. While metal has been a long-time home, his earliest musical memories were formed in a household filled with the soulful sounds of Hindustani classical music and Ghazals. Santosh Nanduri is the creative force behind KNOW, (thebandknow) a solo artist based in Sydney, Australia, originally from Hyderabad, India.Santosh was the founding member of Cadent Slaves, a band that ignited the Hyderabad metal scene around 2012 and was featured on MTV Roots for their impactful track, "Cadence Theme."Since 2019, Santosh has pursued a solo career, channelling his deep commitment to originality and an uncompromising artistic vision. His music, influenced by social causes, spans across Metal, Thrash Metal, and Post Metal, exploring profound human emotions, societal imbalance, and the complexities of modern life.A true multi-instrumentalist, Santosh writes and performs all instruments and vocals in his projects, infusing his passion into every note. Despite balancing his music with a job and family, he remains dedicated to his craft, continually seeking sincere band members to bring his recorded music to life on stage.
